Who runs BankMinistry
BankMinistry is operated by Viom Global Inc, a Delaware C-Corporation. The company was built by a small team of fintech operators who spent years working inside the personal-loan industry — at marketing networks, at product teams, and at compliance shops — and grew frustrated with how opaque the borrower experience had become. Lenders advertised single APRs that almost no one actually received. State availability was buried in fine print. The same five lender networks rebranded themselves under thirty different consumer-facing names. The borrower had no clean way to compare.
We started BankMinistry to fix that specific problem. We don't originate loans, we don't make credit decisions, and we don't sell anyone's data. We surface the lenders we've reviewed, we explain the rules in plain English, and we route qualified borrowers to lending partners who actually serve their state and credit profile.
What we do
We publish editorial reviews of personal-loan lenders, with rate ranges, fee structures, and state availability fact-checked against each lender's source documents. We maintain state-by-state regulatory pages explaining what loan products are legal where, with current statutory caps and licensing references. We build free tools — an eligibility checker, a loan calculator, a comparison filter, and an AI-assisted matching assistant — that let a borrower estimate likely options without a hard credit pull. And we route consumers who decide to apply to the lending partner of their choice through tracked affiliate links.
Every page on the site identifies an editorial reviewer, cites primary sources where regulatory or rate claims are made, and surfaces a permanent affiliate-disclosure statement. The comparison cards on the best-lenders page disclose 'Approval not guaranteed' inline, and any 'editorial pick' tag links back to our review methodology.
What we are not
BankMinistry is not a lender. We do not originate loans, hold consumer-credit licenses, or take any application for credit on behalf of any lending institution. We are not a financial advisor, broker, fiduciary, or credit-repair service. Nothing on this site is financial advice — it is consumer-facing educational and comparison content, and decisions about whether a particular loan is right for you should be made with your own financial circumstances in mind.
We are also not a 'lead farm.' We don't operate ping-tree auctions, we don't pass borrower data to dozens of unrelated parties, and we don't repackage applicant data for resale outside the lending partners explicitly connected on the apply step. See our privacy policy for the full data-handling story.
Our editorial standards
Every published article identifies the editorial reviewer who signed off on it. Lender comparisons follow a documented review methodology that weights APR ranges, fee transparency, state coverage, regulatory record, and customer-experience signals. Our editorial team is structurally separate from the business team that negotiates with lending partners, and partners do not preview or approve editorial content. Read the full standards on our editorial policy page.
How we make money
BankMinistry is free to use. We are compensated by lending-partner networks when consumers click through to apply with a lender we've featured. We do not charge consumers, sell personal information for marketing, or run paid placements without disclosure. The full breakdown — including what compensation does and does not affect on the site — lives on our How We Make Money page.
The editorial team
BankMinistry's editorial team is small by design. Every article is reviewed internally before publication, and lender data is refreshed against source documents on a published cadence described in our editorial policy. Articles surface a 'BankMinistry Editorial Team' byline with the latest review date near the title so readers can judge content freshness at a glance.
Trust and security
The site is served over HTTPS with HSTS preloading. We do not collect Social Security numbers, dates of birth, or bank-account details on BankMinistry itself — when you decide to apply with a partner lender, you complete that information on the lender's own secure site. We comply with the FTC's endorsement and testimonial rules, the TCPA's consent requirements where applicable, and US state privacy laws including CCPA / CPRA.
If you spot a factual error on any page, a stale rate, or content that doesn't match a lender's current disclosures, email editorial@bankministry.com and we'll investigate and correct it. Our correction policy describes exactly how that process works and where the fix is reflected.
State availability
BankMinistry is intended for US borrowers age 18 and older. Lender availability varies by state — some lenders we cover are licensed in all 50 states, while others operate only in a subset. State-availability data is shown on every comparison card. Our state regulation pages cover the personal-loan landscape in each state including statutory caps, licensing frameworks, and recent legislative changes.
